What are the pageviews of a Website?

Website traffic refers to web users who visit a website. Web traffic is measured in visits, sometimes called ‘sessions‘, and is a common way of measuring the effectiveness of an online business in attracting an audience.

The page-views are the total number of pages-viewed by all visitors to a website over a specific period of time, usually a day, a week or a month. but unique page-views are different form normal page views. Unique page-views are based on the number of different users who have loaded the pages.

When a user searches for a product or service on the Internet, or visits a website, it is considered a visitor or a click, according to traffic calculations. But the amount of time the visitor spends on the website and the number of pages he changes to know about something, it is considered as his page view.

There are two types of page-views on the website.

Also the page of a website where a visitor searches for a product or service on a particular site.

The second page-views are when he clicks on an ad and gets information for himself on it.
